Romain ARNEODO & Manuel GUINARD
(ATP Doubles Ranking: 43rd as of April 14, 2025)

They did it.
Romain Arneodo, licensed with the FMT, and his French partner Manuel Guinard claimed the doubles title at the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters 2025.
A historic home victory—never achieved before—in one of the most prestigious tournaments on the ATP Tour.
Week after week, Romain continues to prove his place among the world’s best doubles players.

Their exceptional run:

  • Round of 32: Win 6/3 – 4/6 – 10/8 vs Marcel Granollers & Horacio Zeballos

  • Round of 16: Win by walkover vs Tomáš Macháč & Jack Draper

  • Quarterfinals: Win 6/2 – 4/6 – 10/7 vs Ben Shelton & Rohan Bopanna

  • Semifinals: Win 6/4 – 7/5 vs Henry Patten & Harri Heliövaara

  • Final: Win 1/6 – 7/6(8) – 10/8 vs Lloyd Glasspool & Julian Cash

A first for Monegasque tennis. A moment of immense pride for the FMT.

Valentin VACHEROT
(ATP Singles Ranking: 214th as of April 14, 2025)

In his third appearance at the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, Valentin Vacherot delivered his best performance to date at the tournament, winning his first-ever match in the main draw. Carried by the Monegasque crowd and a wild card entry, he showcased a very solid level of play.

His run:

  • Round of 64: Win 6/2 – 6/1 vs Jan-Lennard Struff
    A commanding win from start to finish against an experienced ATP player.

  • Round of 32: Loss 6/4 – 3/6 – 1/6 vs Grigor Dimitrov
    Against a former champion, Valentin confidently took the first set before falling to the Bulgarian's experience and quality. A very promising performance for the future.

In doubles, he partnered with Arthur Rinderknech.

  • Round of 32: Loss 4/6 – 6/7(7-9) – 2/10 vs Matos / Vliegen
    A hard-fought and competitive match, especially in the tight second-set tie-break, before falling in the super tie-break. A solid effort from this newly formed duo.

Daghe Valentin. A steady and encouraging progression at the highest level.

Hugo NYS
(ATP Doubles Ranking: 24th as of April 14, 2025)

A regular at major events, Hugo Nys once again returned to the Rock, competing in doubles alongside Frenchman Édouard Roger-Vasselin.

His run:

  • Round of 32: Win 6/7(3) – 7/5 – 10/5 vs Andy Murray / Rajeev Ram
    A superb comeback from the French-Monegasque duo, showing resilience and composure after losing the first set in a tie-break.

  • Round of 16: Loss 3/6 – 7/6(4) – 12/14 vs Kevin Krawietz / Tim Puetz
    A match of rare intensity, with a nail-biting super tie-break decided by the smallest of margins. Hugo and Édouard can be proud of the high-level performance they delivered.

Daghe Hugo. Always reliable, always performing. His European clay season continues with the next major tournaments.

The Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters 2025 will go down as an unforgettable edition for Monegasque tennis. Historic achievements, remarkable performances, and powerful emotions on the Rock. The Monegasque Federation contributes to create ties between Federations and foreign clubs as well as to federate the clubs of the Principality, currently five of them. Affiliated to the International Tennis Federation, its national team compete in the prestigious Davis Cup competition since 1929.
