Players - Monegasque Tennis Federation
The Monegasque Tennis Federation wishes to highlight the remarkable performances delivered by its players at the Monte-Carlo Masters, where they competed with distinction on home soil.
Valentin Vacherot made history by becoming the first Monegasque player to reach the semi-finals in singles at this prestigious event. Demonstrating exceptional consistency and determination throughout the tournament, his impressive run came to an end against Carlos Alcaraz, who prevailed in straight sets (6-4, 6-4).
In doubles, Hugo Nys and Édouard Roger-Vasselin also produced an outstanding performance, advancing to the semi-finals after a series of high-level matches. They were narrowly defeated by the German duo Kevin Krawietz and Tim Pütz in a closely contested match (7-6, 4-6, 10-8).
Romain Arneodo, alongside Pierre-Hugues Herbert, reached the quarter-finals in doubles, where they faced Nys and Roger-Vasselin in an all-Monegasque encounter, further illustrating the strength and depth of Monegasque tennis on the international stage.
These performances reflect a week of significant achievement, marked by historic milestones, competitive excellence, and strong representation for Monaco at one of the most prestigious tournaments on the ATP Tour.
The Monegasque Tennis Federation extends its congratulations to all players for their commitment and achievements, and looks forward to their continued success on the international circuit.
